TULSA, Oklahoma — A Tulsa Police Captain has been disciplined because he refused to order officers to attend the Islamic Society’s law enforcement appreciation day next month.
He is being investigated by TPD’s Internal Affairs for violating the department’s obedience policy.

On January 5, 2007, South Florida right-wing pro-Israel radical Joe Kaufman has taken his racist hate message to dangerous levels inciting death threats against Muslim-American radio hosts. In an online article posted to the David Horowitz right-wing blog Frontpagemag.com titled “Hamas and Holocaust Talk” Kaufman falsely and maliciously accused radio show hosts Ahmed Bedier and Samar Jarrah as “two supporters of and apologists for radical Islam.”

A proposed Tennessee law would make following the Islamic code known as Shariah law a felony, punishable by 15 years in jail.
State Sen. Bill Ketron, R-Murfreesboro, and state Rep. Judd Matheny, R-Tullahoma, introduced the same bill in the Senate and House last week. It calls Shariah law a danger to homeland security and gives the attorney general authority to investigate complaints and decide who’s practicing it.

130 Libyan soldiers have been executed for refusing to open fire on pro-democracy protesters, International Federation for Human Rights says.
An amateur video shows the bodies of some 130 slain soldiers with their hands tied behind their backs. The mutinous soldiers were shot dead in al-Baida near the eastern city of Benghazi.
