Dear Fellow Americans:
We are approaching Election Day, 2010 – Tuesday, November 2nd. This is the day that may change the future of our country. This mid-term election could become a pivotal point in changing the history of our country. President Obama has made many promises to the American people; he promised to change many policies which were damaging to the American people, set in place by former President, George W. Bush. It’s important to keep in mind that President Obama inherited these policies from the former administration. Among the numerous crises he inherited, was a severely damaged economy.

LONDON — Move over, Oliver, and make room for Mohammed.
There’s a new leader on the list of the most popular names for baby boys in Britain — a reflection of shifting demographics and pride in the Muslim prophet.
Data recently released by the Office of National Statistics shows that Mohammed and variations of that name rank highest among names for British baby boys in 2009. Oliver came in a close second, followed by Jack in third.

Conservatives and liberals alike will find their blood boiling when they watch the following video, in which Keith Olbermann delivers what he calls a “Special Comment” on the Tea Party’s midterm election candidates. In this nearly 20 minute-long segment, the Countdown host recites a long list of the movement’s affronts to progressivism before ending with a plea for all liberals, Democrats, disillusioned Republicans, moderates, and political neutrals to vote against the Tea Party next Tuesday.

Wow. The Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear just had a Battle of the Bands between Yusuf Islam (also known as Cat Stevens and Ozzy Osbourne. The ‘pro-sanity” part of the rally (lead by Jon Stewart) introduced Mr. Islam who sang “Peace Train,” only to be interrupted by Stephen Colbert (the ‘pro-fear’ part of the rally) who proceeded to introduce a surprisingly lucid Mr. Osbourne who sang “Crazy Train.” The battle was effectively a draw, only to be resolved by a surprise appearance by the O’Jays who sang “Love Train.” And the world began to heal.
The inclusion of Yusuf Islam in the Rally to Restore Sanity is sure to raise a number of eyebrows, given the controversy surrounding his alleged support of the fundamentalist Islamic fatwa against author Salman Rushdie. As Andy Levy tweeted “Rally To Restore Fatwas?” Yusuf has since asserted that he was simply joking and his comments were taken out of context. In the years that has followed, he has repeatedly denied ever calling for the death of Rushdie or supporting the fatwa.

Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly is continuing his mission of highlighting what he calls the “Muslim problem.”
On Monday, the Fox News host told guest Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) spokesman Ahmed Rehab that extremism “is a Muslim problem because it’s generated by Muslims almost exclusively, so it is a Muslim problem.”

Loons come in all shapes, sizes, and colors, and the loons are at it again. We recently reported on the loon comments of one Rabbi Ovadia Yosef that “Non-jews exist only to serve Jews.” Well, Haaretz reports another “leading Rabbi” in the West Bank settlement of Yitzhar apparently shares his sentiments. Rabbi Yitzhak Shapira, headmaster of the Od Yosef Chai Yeshiva, has distributed fliers to his students encouraging them to use Palestinian civilians as human shields. He came to this conclusion by invoking “Jewish values” and going so far as to say this kind of thing is “obligatory according to the Torah.”

Since the beginning of time man’s-inhumanity-to man has created fear amongst neighbors, and enemies amongst friends. In a society that strives on competition, survival of the fittest became the normal way of life, and justice is often lost at the hands of the powerful.

That’s how many dollars Emerson’s for-profit company — Washington-based SAE Productions — collected in 2008 for researching alleged ties between American Muslims and overseas terrorism. The payment came from the Investigative Project on Terrorism Foundation, a nonprofit charity Emerson also founded, which solicits money by telling donors they’re in imminent danger from Muslims.
Emerson is a leading member of a multimillion-dollar industry of self-proclaimed experts who spread hate toward Muslims in books and movies, on websites and through speaking appearances.

historic Church of England diocese where Muslim worshippers outnumber Anglican churchgoers by two to one is set to be scrapped.
According to sources, the Dioceses Commission is drawing up proposals to axe the cash-strapped Diocese of Bradford in Yorkshire and merge it with neighbouring Ripon and Leeds.
Some are pressing for both dioceses to be subsumed into the adjoining Diocese of York, to create a ‘superdiocese’ under Archbishop of York John Sentamu, the Church’s second-most powerful leader.
