CallingIslam is launching this Bus Ad Campaign on behalf of the American Muslim community of South Florida. Many dedicated individuals, Mosques and Institutions have endorsed and supported this project.

Starting November 25, 2008, this Bus Ad Campaign will cover both Dade and Broward Counties for duration of eight (8) weeks. The counties’ transit system buses will display large, beautiful and colorful banners about Islam on the side of 120 buses, inviting fellow Americans to call 1-888-ISLAM-55 and to log on to www.CallingIslam.com website to find the real truth about Islam and Muslims.

What are the objectives of CallingIslam Bus Ad Campaign’s project?

Bring about positive awareness to our fellow Americans, about Islam and Muslims.
Empower the American Muslim community and share Islam with others.
Respond positively to a mass distributed hateful message called “Obsession” DVD.

The Muslim community in South Florida is extremely excited about this project. As a community, we have the duty and the obligation to bring awareness about Islam and the peaceful message we stand behind. With the support of South Floridians, this campaign will enhance understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.

Now it is time to invest in our future and the future of our children. A future where there is no place for hate, prejudice, discrimination or bigotry. We urgently need to raise funds to brighten this future and continue the Bus Ad Campaign. Your donation is tax deductable and Zakat eligible.
